The role of Zn-complexing agents in the chemical bath deposition of ZnO and ZnS thin films

In order to control the deposition of Zn-related films by chemical bath deposition, effects Zn-complexing agent are analyzed. ZnS were produced technique employing sodium citrate, ethanolamine and Triethanolamine as complexing agents. The conditions for (ZnO) thin obtained through a thermodynamic analysis, using distribution diagrams molar fraction Zn complexes. From species Zn-ethanolamine, Zn-Triethanolamine Zn-citrate. It was found that pH values between 4 6 highest is obtained. results highlight importance morphology, while use triethanolamine produce ZnO due their high reactivity; citrate films. Deposited have cubic structure, n-type conductivity, resistivity 8.36×104 ??cm with 3.75 eV bandgap.
